INTERNAL COMPRESSOR FAILURE as compressor efficiency is reduced, the high side decreases, and the low side increases. The function of the compressor is to pull down the low side and push up the high side. When the compressor is failing, it does not do either job well. Always look at both the high- and low-side pressures when diagnosing a problem.
