The story goes that many years before Lyndon B Johnson became the 36th president of the United States he wants a salesman his mentors had demolished him that in order to excel oh, and sells he had to go where there were large groups of people. Late one afternoon Johnson go to his model T into Lubbock Texas. The town appeared to be a deserted town except for the local barber. Johnson has to borrow where a large group of people could be found and he was told that everybody was at a public hanging. Johnson went to the site of the hanging. And she answered the crowd he heard the Executioner asked the man who was about to die if he had any last words. The man know that that he has said all he had to say in court to no avail. Johnson has asked if he might use the time to speak and the Executioner told the prisoner that it was acceptable if he agrees. When a prisoner acoustic executioner asked the prisoner whether he wanted to postpone the hanging until after Johnson spoke his piece. No, reply the man I’ve already heard him speak.
