ASAM criteria has six dimensions of multi-dimensional assessment: Dimension 1 - Acute intoxication or withdrawal potential imension 2 - Biomedical conditions and complications Dimension 3 -Emotional, behavioral and/or cognitive conditions Dimension 4 - Readiness to change Dimension 5 - Relapse, continued use and/or continued problems Dimension 6 - Recovery/living environment Dimension 2 examines a person’s health history and current physical condition. Are there currently physical conditions that need to be addressed that could create risk or complicate treatment? Are there any chronic conditions that affect treatment? Is there a need for medical services that may interfere with
